Laakil Ammeublement
In the 1970s, a young Abdessalam Laakil stepped into his uncle’s woodworking atelier, where he immersed himself in the timeless craft of Moroccan furniture making. As he refined his skills, he developed a deep appreciation for the heritage and artistry behind each piece. By the 1980s, he transitioned into timber trading, laying the foundation for a lasting family legacy.
In 1985, driven by a shared vision, Abdessalam and his brother established a small furniture workshop. Their commitment to craftsmanship quickly drew in talented artisans, and by 1991, it had evolved into a thriving collective of master craftsmen.
Today, Laakil Ammeublement is led by the next generation: Noussair, with expertise in IT and management, and Zaid, an architect and interior designer. Together, they oversee a team of over 60 skilled artisans, a flagship showroom, and growing cross-border operations, blending tradition with innovation to redefine Moroccan design.
